Are Urestone panels easy to install?
Yes. URESTONE faux stone, faux brick, and faux wood panels are designed for fast, DIY-friendly installation on most vertical surfaces. Panels are lightweight, cut with standard woodworking tools, and attach using construction adhesive and screws, so most homeowners and contractors can achieve professional results without masonry skills.

Details
-
Typical tools: circular saw or jigsaw, drill/driver, level, tape measure, utility knife, caulk gun, countersink bit
-
Fastening: apply adhesive to the back of the panel, set in place, then screw through the face into framing or substrate. Our full installation guide is available on the Urestone Literature page
-
Substrates: installs over metal, wood, masonry, and drywall; ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and structurally sound
-
Edges and seams: interlocking profiles hide panel seams; finish with color-matched caulk and touch-up paint for a realistic, continuous stone, brick, or wood look
-
Speed: we sell the largest panels in the industry at 4x8 feet. These cover more area per sheet, reduce seams, and dramatically shorten install time for accent walls, wainscot, fireplaces, and exterior façades. A team of two can install 90sqft of wainscot in just an hour!
-
Accessories: keyless corners, narrow corners, end caps, trim pieces, and color-matched touch-up kits create a complete, finished system
-
Exterior readiness: weather-resistant, impact-resistant coating supports outdoor use; seal penetrations and follow expansion gap guidance
-
Safety and prep: dry-fit panels first, mark stud locations, pre-drill near edges, and confirm local code requirements for exterior installations
